Dr. Mike Bloom is a native of North Idaho, a graduate of Coeur d’Alene High School and the University of Idaho. He received his doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1999 from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1999 Dr. Bloom began working as an associate dentist with his uncle, Dr. Vince Rossi, who opened our Hayden office in 1971. Upon Dr. Rossi’s retirement in 2005, Dr. Bloom purchased the practice. He says “Being able to treat the same patients as my uncle, as well as the next generation of those patients, is a true honor.”
Dr. Bloom is a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international dental honor organization that recognizes leadership, ethics and integrity in the dental profession. He is active in the Idaho State Dental Association (ISDA) and Idaho Panhandle Dental Society (IPDS). He is also a past president of the Idaho Panhandle Dental Society (2007-08). Additionally, Dr. Bloom has served on the Panhandle Peer Review Committee since 2005. As a result of this service, in 2010 Dr. Bloom was appointed State Chairman of the ISDA Peer Review Committee. He embraces many opportunities for continuing education in order to provide excellent dentistry to his patients. Dr. Bloom’s true passion is his family, wife Janel, and kids Jack and Maggie. He is a proud supporter of local education and athletics including University of Idaho and Coeur d’Alene High School. Currently he serves on the board for CHS Viking Booster Club and Education Foundation.
